This introductory course is not about software, heavy number crunching or coding. It's about developing what we call a "data state of mind." You will see how working with data is similar to any other form of reporting, and we will cover basic concepts that will help you identify opportunities for incorporating data work into your reporting. You will come away with a solid understanding of basic data journalism concepts and will be prepared to learn more.

Prior knowledge: To attend this session, no prior knowledge is required.

The session is given in Google Sheets. Participants need to have a google account to follow along.
