Nicky Hager learned the skills of finding and looking after sources 30 years ago when he was researching his ground-breaking book on international surveillance systems. Then and since he has found and worked with numerous confidential sources on many subjects. None have ever been suspected or caught. In this session he will go through the detailed stages of finding, first meeting and working with a source, and then all the aspects of ensuring they stay safe and feel good about having helped. He believes that the foundation of our work is being faithful to our sources and putting them first.
